PayPal to Launch Cell Phone Friendly Service

PayPal, the online-payment company owned by eBay., said Friday that it plans to launch a new service this year designed to make it easier to pay for items using cell phones and other mobile devices.

Cell phone users can currently buy items through PayPal using the standard version of the service that Internet retailers use on their Web sites.
