The eBay brand is ubiquitous and people who aren’t already trading sometimes feel like they’ve missed the boat. “I haven’t used eBay yet, I’m afraid” they’ll say. “I don’t know where to start.” And that’s hardly surprising.
There are more than 10 million items for sale on eBay.co.uk and if you translate that into a familiar setting, such as a market or shop, you could be browsing the stalls and shelves for weeks before you track down what you want to buy.
