60 Second Ideas:

Celebrities have all sorts of assistants to do their chores for them. Hey, what the heck, we are as busy as they are, right?

Now comes Beverly Hills based DoMyStuff.com - a website where regular people can post specific tasks or chores and have others do your stuff for you.

What kind of stuff? Well you name it. You can find someone to mow your lawn, cook your dinner, tutor your child, plan a party, organize your garage, clean your pool, even plan your cruise and vacation and just about anything and everything you can think of in between.

Here is how it works. Someone posts a task and businesses and individuals bid for the task in true eBay fashion. Bids include the total cost and when it will be completed. The customer reviews the bids and chooses an assistant.

Customers can view information on providers through a rating system that lets users share information on the quality of their work.

DoMyStuff provides an online escrow system that allows customers to forward payment for a task into an escrow account until the job is completed, protecting both buyers and sellers.

DoMyStuff is free for buyers and charges providers a commission of ranging from 7–10%. The company is currently focused on Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York.
