Top Concerns for Small Biz
What issues most affect you as a small-business owner? Health care? The cost of energy? If you share these concerns, you’re definitely not alone.
According to a new small business spending report released by Visa USA, small-biz owners are most concerned with the increasing cost of energy, health care and taxes. Energy ranked highest as a top concern with about 75 percent of small-business owners, who said they believe energy spending will continue rising.
Of those surveyed, 34 percent said they’re worried about the skyrocketing cost of health care insurance, especially companies with two or more employees.
Yet, despite their growing anxiety regarding those issues, nearly half of small businesses reported an expected increase in revenue over the next six months.
