Hesperia Star:

When sisters Gladys Vargas and Laura Nava decided to open a retail store soon after moving to the High Desert, the decision on what to carry came fairly easily.

“We’re into style,” Vargas said.

Owning their own store is a welcome change. Nava was a paralegal, and Vargas worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles. “We got tired of working for people, so we put this together,” Vargas said.

Vargas serves as the boutique’s primary buyer. “I just look for what’s in style,” she said. “I try to keep up with what’s in fashion.”

The sisters hope that by providing stylish clothing their patrons can feel even more special.
