Your Errands Are Her Business
If Chris Frattini says “whatever,” she’s not blowing you off, she’s describing what she will do for you.
Frattini started her Whatever Errands and Concierge personal assistant business May 1 after 16 years as a saleswoman and six years of being a full-time mom.
The 37-year-old Plainfield woman got the idea after years of hearing people saying, “If I could pay someone to do this, I would.”
Frattini decided she would be the person people paid to do errands they couldn’t or wouldn’t do. Her services run the gamut. She will pick up prescriptions, assist at weddings and parties, get homes ready for real estate open houses and shop for groceries. She will also return library books, DVDs and gifts.
“I’m the one who will stand in line the day after Christmas to return things,” she said.
Frattini will even wait for the cable guy, plumber or painter.
There are things she will not do. Frattini won’t transport people or pets, clean homes or baby-sit.
Frattini requires 24-hour notice for errands. She charges an hourly rate with discounts for seniors and first-time clients. Some clients fund concierge accounts in advance, and they get a discounted rate, too.
Customers include working women, senior citizens and bachelors — anyone who need help getting everything done.
