Elizabeth Dibiasi is a mom, a wife, and works for a financial advisory firm – and she can get her work done from her couch.
DeBiasi says she didn’t let becoming a mother of two stop her from doing her job that she loves. She made the move to working from home six years ago.
DeBiasi says she has many friends who work from home. They’re all examples of the growing number of people choosing to ditch the office.
DeBiasi says it’s a balancing act that requires a strong partnership between the company and its employees.“I work sometimes at six a.m, from six to 6:30 just looking at e-mails, but then I shut down and I do all the other stuff that’s required to run the house from 6:30 to about nine o’clock,” DeBiasi said.
DeBiasi says despite having to balance everything, she truly values her situation’s flexibility.
