Summer is the perfect time for children to discover how fun and rewarding it is to to be in business for themselves. Each summer millions of youngsters go out and mow lawns, sell lemonade, babysit, wash cars, walk dogs and engage in other classic childhood entrepreneurial ventures.
What business did you, if you’re a child, or your children start this summer? Or, what business did you have as a kid? Answer in the comments, or email me a photo and I’ll include it in a later post.
To inspire you, I’ll leave you with this collection of lemonade stands from Flickr.

Have to be some pretty sweet lemonade to be worth $3. Although, looking at it, I might pay $3 for lemonade if it was as good as a Double Chocolate Chip from Starbucks!

When i was little my friend and I use to sell lemonade and our mums would make cakes and we would hold a stall outside her house. All the money we made we would give to the local hospital.
