Describe your business: I am an independent consultant for Mary Kay. I sell skincare products and cosmetics.
Why did you start this business: I started using Mary Kay’s Time Wise line about18 months ago and my face looks amazing now. I get compliments all the time and people can’t believe I just turned 40!
Your background/education: I am a stay-at-home mom. I was a flight attendant for a private jet prior to having my youngest daughter two years ago. I missed the adult contact being at home all the time and this gives me the opportunity to do both.
What is your advice to other business owners? If you truly believe in a product, sell it, but most of all believe in yourself.
What is the biggest challenge running your business? Balance of family and business. My husband has a successful law firm so making sure we have our “family time” is very important to us.
