She Works Hard for the Money

Entrepreneur Daily:

A new study reveals that twentysomething women are closing the wage gap between men and women.

In New York, Los Angeles and other metropolitan cities, women have actually forged ahead of men in salary earnings.

In Dallas, full-time working women are making 120 percent of the average male salary. A close analysis shows that graduating college has a huge hand in this.

In 2005, 53 percent of New York’s working women were college graduates, with many of these women choosing to invest in their career rather than getting married right after college.

As women enrolled in college and graduate school continue to outnumber men, their hard work and flair is finally paying the wage difference.
