Mom Whips Up Mini Pie Business
A Baltimore County stay-at-home mom has started her own miniature pie business called Cutie Pie.
Aime Stewart is a hard-working stay-at-home mother of three, but she’s also a self-described entrepreneur. She said that in the middle of the night one night, she decided she would start a business making individual-sized pies in just about every flavor.
Stewart said she’s been cooking since she was a child and inherited recipes from her grandmother that she puts her own twist on.
She said most of her business has been word of mouth. She’s been baked for baby showers and office parties, but is currently targeting local restaurants, hoping they bite on her cute desserts.
