Mom Off To See Oprah In Chicago

Diane Aaron is the owner of a demanding business, a home executive and the mother of three boys, and says at times life can be very taxing.
But her daily dose of Oprah Winfrey is what keeps her motivated and pushing on.
“And I can’t believe that I’m actually going to see her show live. It’s so exciting,” she said on Thursday.
The Westville resident said she’s over the moon because she has finally realised her life’s dream.
Aaron, 35, will be travelling to Chicago to attend a live taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show after she was declared the overall winner of the competition run jointly by O, The Oprah Magazine, and Joko at the Women of Strength Tea Parties held countrywide during September.
She will be flying to the US, courtesy of British Airways, to attend the show and enjoy a five-day tour of Chicago early next year.
Aaron said Winfrey was an inspiration because she had made a difference to millions of people around the world, including here in South Africa.
“Her dedication, independence and caring inspired me to do more with my life. I started my own business in 1996, and through hard work and support from my husband and sisters, who later joined me in the business, we have been very successful.”
