According to the Wall Street Journal, the US government is going to begin offering army recruits startup cash:
The Army has been enlisting youths for decades by promising them money for college. Starting in January, it will try out a different sort of pitch in selected cities: offering up to $40,000 toward the purchase of a home or the creation of a business.

Yeah,…and they’ll have the same stipulations for getting the college money but those recruits won’t realize its just another way to sucker them in :|
Funny how they make it seem so fabulous like you’ll get to travel - exotic destinations at that! And we’ll give you tons of money for college and now even a brand new home!! (IF you “qualify”)
Why don’t they tell then the truth and say, sure you’ll get to travel to a hot/dry dessert that has sand storms that can rip your skin up, wake up with who knows what kind of bugs in your sleeping bag after sleeping on the hard floor for months on end. Kill who we say deserves it because our politicians are to busy to fight their own wars they have to send someone else out to do their dirty work. etc etc etc
Sorry guess I shouldnt be venting like this but after having many friends and family die (for no good reason) serving this fabulous land of the free… I have to voice my opinion, thanks for listening :D
