Clever Marketing Idea?
I was running some errands today when I passed a public storage business.
On their sign out front they offered “Santa Clausets” for customers to hide/store gifts until Christmas for just $10. I thought to myself, what a fantastic idea!
My guess is that the storage business is a little slow in the month of December and the owner was looking for something that would bring in some extra business/dollars.
I don’t know how successful the promotion has been. After all, you would have to have some really curious kids to have to hide their holiday gifts away from home.

It wouldn’t have to be just because of nosy kids. Perhaps you live in a small place with your significant other, this would be a cheap/easy way to hide gifts. Not only hide, but you could wrap there too, I imagine.
Also, if one had a large gift (bicycle, playhouse, TV, etc) it might be more convenient to keep it stashed away off-premises.

That’s a really great idea! However, I am curious to see how many Clausets they enroll.
