One Mom Helps Other Mom’s Work From Home

If you’re a mom and you’re looking to work from home then Lisa Paredes just might be your best friend. A work at home mom herself, she has recently started a website that is an online resource guide for working from home. Membership is free, so any mom looking for information on starting a home business or internet-based business can find the information they need without having to pay for it.

What was your inspiration for MommyEmpire.com?

I would have to say that the inspiration for MommyEmpire.com is a combination of three things.

1. I dedicated the site to my mother who is the biggest role model in my life. She is a huge inspiration to me and has taught me to be a strong woman.

2. I wanted to create a site that I wish I came across when I was looking to work from home.

3. The site is dedicated to ALL moms who have a dream to build a home business.

How long did it take you to get MommyEmpire.com set up and ready to be launched?

I started to slowly build MommyEmpire.com in late October 2006 as a side project. It was only a couple of months ago that I began to shift more of my focus to the site.
