The Birds And The Bees For Parents
Chances are that if you’re a parent, you’re probably not ready to answer all the questions your kid(s) might have about the birds and the bees. I’m a mom and I’m not really sure how I’ll approach that topic with my daughter when the time comes. That is why I was so excited to see a mom just like us made a website to help out the rest of us who don’t really know what to say, or how to say it.
Amy is the mom behind Birds + Bees + Kids, a websites that offers workshops and consultations for parents that have questions and need help when it comes to those questions our kids will be asking us about sex, love and relationships.
With a past history in sexual health education, Amy thought she could handle any question. Until her son asked her some questions about his body. She found herself uncomfortable and that sparked something for her. If she was uncomfortable with the topic, how uncomfortable would it be for a parent with no history in that type of education? It would be that question that would lead to her website.
Amy offers workshops, one-on-one consultation, public talks amongst other choices. Workshops can cost $45 for one, $80 for two and consultations cost $85 for one, $125 for two people. Their is no political or religious undertones in what she does, so anyone who signs up for her help will be able to get the answers they need without any bias that might be attached when it comes to religious or political organizations.
When it comes to businesses, Amy goes to show that anyone can be successful while using just knowledge. She is a great example for all moms out there and gets to join the ranks among other great moms who made innovative businesses out of experience.
