Not Up in Smoke: Smoking Business Opportunities
In the United States, only about 20% of the population are smokers. Though sometimes here in smokeless California it might not seem that there’s not much of a market for products related to smoking, but that 20% corresponds to almost fifty million people in the US alone! Globally, some estimates place the percentage of smokers as high as 33%. No matter how you look at it, that’s a huge market, and it generates a large amount of business opportunities and product creation.
Philip Morris International is on the cutting edge of this innovation. This video from the Wall Street Journal highlights some of their newest ideas.

With 50,000,000 smokers, this is a huge market potential. Anyone who knows someone who smokes, or wants to quit, or at lease switch to a health saf alternative, here is the solution to second hand smoke pollution.
