Biz Poll: Working At Home

Sara Schaefer Munoz wrote a post on the Wall Street Journal blog ‘The Juggle’ (The Juggle is about the choices and trade-offs people make as they juggle work and family) asking do you do more household chores when working from home?

Working from home is oft-cited as an ideal way for people to manage their juggle; they can hold down a job but save time on commuting and have more flexibility.

But there are downsides: If you leave your home office to get a drink of water, dirty dishes may beckon. Moreover, your spouse may assume that because you are home, you should be able to squeeze in some chores during the day.

We had 56 readers respond to our poll. The results were 84% YES and 16% NO.
