Baby Carriers For Your Little "Puj"

Katie Richardson is not the average mom. Having met her husband in college, Katie and Ben are both designers. When they decided they wanted to have children it was Katie that decided that she wanted to stay home to raise her kids. She didn’t let that stop her from designing still. Instead of designing under a brand, she created her own and in the process made items to help make her life as a mom a little easier.

Pronounced “pudge”, Puj is the name of Katie’s online store where she sells her stylish baby slings. Made of a strong, yet stretchy material, this sling is meant to simplify “baby wearing” for the parent who wants a simple way to carry around their child.

Right now the sling is the only item offered on her website, but in an interview she did with The Columbian, she has mentioned that their might be more to come. One such product includes a soft-soled 100% leather baby bootie. Definitely a good sign of the success she’s having as a designer under her own name.

As a work-at-home mom, Katie is very lucky to have the experience she has as well as a husband in the same business. That gives her the best support system possible to continue with her business and keep it growing.

Her slings can also be found in 70 stores across the US, Chile and Denmark.
