Everyday Edisons Casting Call
After a successful Dallas casting call, Everyday Edisons is heading to Chicago to see what the Windy City has to offer.
Date: Saturday, April 19, 2008
Where: McCormick Place, South Building; 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive; Chicago, IL 60616
When: Doors open at 7 a.m. As long as you make it to the registration line by 1 p.m., you will be able to present your idea. Evaluations will take place throughout the day. There is no pre-registration and you do not need to RSVP. The event is free and open to the public.
Bring: Prototypes, sketches, pictures, copies of patents, etc. Or, just your idea! Those with refined prototypes, factory samples or manufactured products will be seen by representatives from major retailers including Bed Bath & Beyond, The Home Depot, Staples, QVC, The Sharper Image and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
If your invention is not selected for the show, Everyday Edisons may potentially offer its standing relationships with major retailers to commercialize your product and get it onto store shelves.

I understand this isn’t American Idol, but does anyone know how early to get there to be seen?
Anyone attended the other cities?
