Oven Cleaning Franchise Success Down Under

Franchise UK:

The Ovenu ‘phenomenon’ is gathering pace over 9,000 miles away, which has opened the door for franchise opportunities for British people considering emigrating to Australia.

After a successful pilot programme and an initial franchisee recruitment drive, Ovenu has firmly established itself in Australia is offering opportunities for British people looking for a new challenge.

With the Australian franchise market being worth over £64 billion and generating approximately 14 percent of gross domestic product; it is not surprising that an increasing number of UK people are relocating ‘down under’.

Good examples of this are Bernard and Janet Bannon, the Master Franchisees for Ovenu in Australia. Having emigrated several years ago, they have established Ovenu’s Australian operations. They replicated Ovenu’s effective UK system and procedures during the pilot programme, making a few minor adjustments to suit the Australian market.

It was quickly apparent that the oven and BBQ valeting service was going to be a huge success and the couple already have a network of franchisees including another pair of ‘ex-pats’, Toby and Carolyn Bowes.

The Bowes’ have been so impressed with the reaction to Ovenu in their local area that they have also acquired a State Directorship licence from the Bannons to develop the service in Queensland.

Rik Hellewell, Managing Director of Ovenu, said: “It’s no surprise to me that more and more people from the UK are looking at a move ‘down under’. The weather has a huge deciding factor, but there are other very appealing points to consider. Property for example, particularly in Western Australia, is roughly half the cost of the UK; the transport infrastructure is superb and fuel is about half the price than in the UK.

A franchise opportunity in Australia is starting to grab the attention of some people in the UK. This new growing business has created an attractive opportunity that isn’t taking much prompting to attract new franchisers.
