Walking your dog may be an enjoyable experience, but carrying around doggy-doo isn’t. Which is what led Peterborough’s Debbie Alger to develop the Dawgie Bag, a new invention that may appear on the popular Dragon’s Den TV show. The show features people can pitching their business ideas and products to Canadians who have the knowledge to make an idea a reality.Ms Alger says the idea was in mind for two years and she wasn’t planning to put it on the show, but the auditions just came at the right time.

“I don’t see why it wouldn’t sell, lots of people have dogs. Even if Dragon’s Den doesn’t like it, at least there will still be a commercial. I’ve just gotta take risks,” she explains.

“I spent the last year checking out pet stores and searching the Internet for something like this before I decided I would invent it myself. I figured if I don’t do it, someone else will.”

The Dawgie Bag has space for two bags of dog feces. Ms Alger says it is comfortable on the pet and doesn’t hinder the dogs from running or playing. It also comes in a variety of colours and is washable.

Nice, first a kitty litter. Now a dawgie bag. I love the dawgie bag, the idea that i won’t have to scoop anymore whenever i walk my dog around- because of this dawgie bag- is brilliant!

Too bad i couldn’t get in their site.

I was thinking of another thing. Turns out that the dawgie bag can only carry the dog poop. I was thinking of a diaper or whatever. LOL funny.

The bag is really helpful. At last, i won’t have to walk around carrying a dog poop. I had enough of it.

She’s right, dog poop is not something people wanna talk about. And especially not something people wanna see you carrying.
