Ron Seniours picked up some tips on opening a franchise Thursday at a seminar for women, minorities and veterans interested in becoming franchisees.
Seniours, 40, was one of 185 people who attended the event, hosted by Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory, U.S. Bank and the International Franchise Association.
An information packet on Papa Murphy’s pizza chain, which sells made-to-order pizzas that customers take home and bake, caught Seniours’ eye. Papa Murphy’s was among at least 10 franchises participating in the event at the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency.
“I want to own my own business because of the investment gain it would offer in the long run,” said Seniours, who lives in Fairfield.
