Does that come with fries?

Despite the economic downturn, a Lower Manhattan restaurant is now offering a $175 hamburger.

It’s made of Kobe beef, topped with gold flakes, black truffles, a thick slab of seared foie gras and aged Gruyere cheese.

Wall Street Burger Shoppe co-owner Heather Tierney thinks of it as “a work of art.”

Tierney says the item attracts Wall Street types who down a few beers and then fork over $175 to “show off in front of their friends.”

Kobe beef for $175? That beef better have some Lebron, some Wade, and some Carmelo in it too for that price!……. Corny I know, but I couldn’t resist. :)

Wow, I hope you can also get a Coke with that. I am tempted to try one, just for the experience ;-)

If you hadn’t already lost me at the $175 for the burger, you would have at the black truffles. I’m not a fungi fan.

I wonder if you order it without black truffles if they will drop the price $75, at least. :-D
