TechCrunch:

Want to know how to get your Website high up in natural search results, but don’t want to pay a search engine optimization (SEO) firm just to find out what you are doing wrong?

Now you can get a free, automated evaluation of your site on Website Grader. Just type in your Website address, and it will spit out a report detailing what you can do to boost your site’s SEO juice. It even gives you a grade.

Website Grader is operated by HubSpot, a search engine and Web-marketing optimization company hoping to get leads from the site.

That’s an interesting resource you have found there Dane. It’s simple and straight forward, but I think the most effective SEO technique is designing your website with people in mind, not the search engines. Implementing sound, minimal and standard optimization only, like watching the meta tags, keyword density, etc. will do it.

The tool didn’t work for me. It said it “failed to obtain content” from my site. I don’ tknow if I should be insulted or what. :)

Hey, I tried it out, wonderful tool. It says my blog ranked 39 out of 100, I am going to try improving on it and see how I score again.
