Mom Helps Others Survive Dinner Time

How many times have you found yourself standing at the fridge, looking in, wondering what you are going to make for supper? Most likely you’ve done that at least once. Heather Corbin came from a family of cooks. So it’s pretty easy to say she knew a thing or two about food. If she ever found herself wondering what to make for dinner, it must not have lasted long. She turned her knowledge into Simple Family Supper which helps others plan out their meals a week in advance.

Not only is she helping parents all over be prepared for meals in advance so they will never have to ask themselves, “What’s for dinner?” again. Heather has also given herself the ability to work from home where she can take care of my family and still bring in an income to her household.

To celebrate the 4th she has included a few very delicious sounding recipes on her blog. Here is one of the recipes featured:

Cowboy Burgers

Ingredients

2 pounds lean ground beef

2 – 4 TBL Worcestershire sauce

½ tsp onion powder

¼ tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Sliced pepper jack cheese (optional)

——-

Directions

1) Place the ground meat in a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle on Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

2) Mix well (use your hands!) and form into patties.

3) Preheat grill. Cook burgers over medium heat until desired doneness is reached. Top with sliced cheese (optional)

I enjoy the fact this mom has filled a niche all her own. Her service helps parents organize their meals for the week, with only the need to ingredient shop. With how busy people are today, it’s no wonder that Heather has done so well for herself.
