Driveway Impressions

Many homeowners want to give their home the best advantage with a beautifully designed driveway, but the cost can be a huge factor in the decision. Hand-laid brick can be quite costly, but there is a franchise which gives potential franchisees and customers alike a chance to try something different.

Through a process called StreetPrint®, Driveway Impressions, a subsidiary of Integrated Paving Concepts Inc., offers customers a driveway which will look beautiful, continue to be long lasting and will be cost effective. Although they began this process in 1992 it wasn’t until 10 years later when they took it to the next step and created the Driveway Impressions franchise brand and started selling their business plan and opportunity to others interested in making this a business of their own.

Franchisees do not need a background in building trades. What they do need is experience in sales or marketing as well as basic computer skills and a positive attitude as an entrepreneur. Once you get started they will help you along with as much (or little) continued support you need through the life of your franchise agreement.

The start-up cost can be anywhere from $50,000 to $65,000 but the total investment for this franchise can tip the scales at $205,000. You can run your business from a home office.

I’ve seen ads for similar services. I’m sure anyone who has had to resurface their driveway would be very interested in this product.

my company is one that installs those “hand laid brick” driveways every day… honestly, ask anyone with a concrete driveway how it looks. most will tell you it looks bad. it cracks, it stains, it settles, and it needs to be replaced eventually. sorry, i wouldn’t spend 50k - 200k on this franchise, and i’ve been in this business for 20 years. fyi, we did concrete work once in our business life, and it was a nightmare. i had more lawsuits then than ever before because of inconsistent material, coloring, fading, cracks, etc. beware… it’s not all its “cracked” up to be. oh, btw, i’ve NEVER had a warranty claim on a paver driveway. EVER.

I think Jason is wrong, a driveway can add beauty of our home. My grandparents driveway was more than 20 years already and it still looks good. NO CRACKS! It depend on the materials that use. If you use low quality of materials then no doubt it can easily be cracks.

I restore “old” houses as a hobby. Both procedures are beautiful when putting the final touches in. Both have their flaws.
Jason, I will say that my hat is off to you for staying in business as long as you have in your trade. It is a dying art.
It is my experience that in today’s world of building and restoration, art sells.
That is why you are still in business today, and why company’s like Driveway Impressions are hitting the floor running.
Both are beautiful and give the feel of luxury.

I believe that there may be a misunderstanding of what Driveway Impressions is offering as a service to homeowners. To st the record straight, our unique process is not concrete. We have a 16 year proven process for heating, imprinting, and coloring asphalt to create an attractive and practical pavement that dramatically enhances the curb appeal of homes. The advantages to the homeowner when comparing to alternative decorative pavements are both the low maintenance and the attractive cost savings.
