Checkers
If you don’t recognize the brand name of Checkers, maybe you will recognize Rally’s. They are a drive-thru (and even a walk-thru) fast food franchise. Through their Area Development Agreement, one of their franchises can be opened in virutally all major cities in the US and can sit on as little as 1/2 an acre of land.
So what can a franchisee expect to get when they purchase a Checkers or Rally’s? They provide:
- Marketing and Advertising Programs
- Real Estate Selection Assistance
- Construction Support
- On-going Support
Potential franchisee’s are required to have $250,000 in net worth with $150,000 in liquidity. The franchise fee is $30,000 for a 20 year term, with 4% royalties and 5% going to advertising.
