Meredith Eisenberg, owner of Yellow Highlighter Virtual Assistance (http://yellowhighlighterva.com), will be featured in the August issue of Good Housekeeping magazine in an article profiling mothers who earn full-time incomes working from home part-time.
As a virtual assistant, Eisenberg provides professional support to solo entrepreneurs including administrative assistance, web development and marketing strategy advice. “I work for solo entrepreneurs who want a professional assistant, but who do not need full time support or want to provide office space for an employee,” said Eisenberg, ” I do work for my clients who live all over the country by computer and by phone.”
Eisenberg works part-time from her Albuquerque home and charges clients $50 an hour for her services. “Being a virtual assistant allows me to make a comfortable living working part time, and also have time to spend with my five-year old daughter.” Before moving to Albuquerque, Meredith spent over ten years as a public relations specialist for local governments in the Washington DC area. “Many VAs come from an administrative background; my public relations background has been very helpful to my clients, who rely on me as a sounding board, as well as to help free them from many of their day-to-day tasks, so they can concentrate on their business.”
