How about filling your home with the smell of leather – or beer?
It’s the latest trend in candles for men.
Until now, candles have mainly been marketed to women, with floral “girly” scents. But one man in Montana has developed scented candles with names like Wild Alaska, Yardwork and Hunting Lodge (their most popular scent).
Manly Man Candle Company creator Brent Grassman says at first people thought it was a joke, but now he ships the “mandles” all over the world. “They come back the next week and say ‘I thought it was going to be a joke, but it smells great,’” he says, “and they buy another one.”
Grassman makes the candles in small batches in his basement. Right now, he says he’s trying to perfect the beer scent; so far, he’s only been able to re-create stale beer.

Do you think paraffin is better than soy wax since it’s cheaper?
