The first Dayton-area Frickerâ€™s is a complete loss.
Paul Curtis, director of franchising and human resources for Dayton-based Frickerâ€™s USA, said the restaurant at 4963 Springboro Pike in West Carrollton caught fire early Monday morning and is a â€œ100 percent loss.â€
Curtis did not have any details about the cause of the fire, because the remains have been deemed too dangerous for fire inspectors.
The 5,700-square-foot restaurant also housed Frickerâ€™s USA office space on the second floor. Curtis said losing this space wonâ€™t prohibit operations, but they will be looking for office space.
Curtis said he has been in contact with Ray Frick, who started Frickerâ€™s, and expects to rebuild at the same location.
â€œWeâ€™re going to rebuild bigger and better than ever,â€ Curtis said.
