Local Mompreneur Runs For 2008 Startup Nation Home-Based Top 100

Lois Whittaker is one mother who realizes how important it is for mothers to help support each other. To this effort, she has invented the Cushie Pushie Breast Support Pillow for Nursing Moms. The breastfeeding pillow was designed to help support a woman’s breast for easier breastfeeding.
Now, Lois is looking for other mothers to help support her as she runs to be named one of the 2008 Startup Nation Home-Based Top 100 Businesses.
The Cushie Pushie Company and the Cushie Pushie Breast Support Pillow have been nominated in the Most Innovative and Wackiest Categories.
The second annual StartupNation Home-Based 100 Contest is a ranking of outstanding home-based businesses and the people behind them. Sponsored by Microsoft Office Live and FedEx Office, thousands of entries have been received for this year’s ranking. Now it is time to vote for the favorites to influence the judges’ decisions on who will be selected as the 100 winners. Throughout October, people can vote each day for their favorites. The ranking results will be published in mid-November.
