Discus Dental, LLC Names New CEO

Discus Dental, LLC, innovators in dental and oral-hygiene products and the worldwide leader in professional tooth whitening products, today announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer, Steven J. Semmelmayer.
Following an exhaustive search, Discus Dental has executed an employment agreement to bring Semmelmayer on board, effective immediately. As a 29-year veteran of the dental industry, he has risen through the ranks of sales and marketing, product development and general management.“We’re extremely excited to have a proven leader like Steve to help guide our efforts in maximizing the direct-sales platform we’ve built at Discus,” says Chairman Richard Gilleland. “His extensive industry knowledge and aggressive approach are exactly what Discus needs to continue innovating and expanding through these extraordinary economic times, as well as over the long term.”
