Niche Biz: Pre-Chewed Pencils
A British design company have launched a new product to help children concentrate at school – pre-chewed pencils.
The company, called Concentrate, says the pencils look like they have already been chewed making pupils less likely to put them in their mouths.
And they say this is a cheap but effective way of encouraging youngsters to get their teeth into their lessons instead.
Concentrate specialises in products to help kids at school and identify why they get distracted or are unable to focus in class, claim the chewed end encourages them to get thinking straight away.

I am a pencil chewer when I am concentrating or nervous… somehow I don’t think that pencil would stop me. I don’t know about others but it is an unconscious habit for me.

wow! but i dont chew pencil, coz it is for writing only and not to be chewed. but for other people who has a habit of doing it, they will be happy to read this post, coz they have now the chew pencil that is made for them,like angela!

That is an awesome idea! i always’ used pens in high school… so if they could stretch this idea out to pens…that would be awesome. i always’ chewed on my pens while in class and saw several other students chewing on theirs as well.
