I have always’ been a firm believer in obtaining a patent for anything that you invent no matter what it is. think of all the stories you have heard of people who had an idea, never got a patent and then later someone came along, had a better marketing strategy or more money to create the product and obtained a patent and the original inventor was cut out completely…it’s a sad story for anyone. always get a patent!!!!

You are absolutely correct. i have been in the industry for a few years now and have met many inventors who have missed out on great opportunities because they have just not considered protecting their invention as an investment. You even see it among business owners not getting a trademark for their business name.
