Who Will Become Greater Philadelphia's Fittest Mama?
One Fit Mama™ is excited to announce the arrival of its second annual ‘Fittest Mama Challenge’. Mothers in the Greater Philadelphia area will have the opportunity to participate in a 12-week intensive fitness and nutrition competition, get in the best shape of their lives, and compete against other Mommies for fantastic prizes and rewards. Beginning Monday, January 5, 2009, Moms will engage in extensive body composition analysis and bi-weekly life-coaching workshops in areas such as nutrition, fitness, positive body image, and more!
Individual and team rewards will be given at various stages, and the top three competitors will be revealed in April, 2009, as part of a Moms’ Night Out Celebration. Moms can find out more information and register by visiting www.onefitmama.com.
Rather than only focusing on weight loss as a primary goal, participants will be guided in making positive, long-term, lifestyle changes over the course of three months. New Moms will strive to eat right, exercise, and shed those unwanted extra pounds – all with their children in tow! The entry fee of $45 includes two full body composition assessments, a One Fit Mama™ Fittest Mama Challenge long-sleeve t-shirt, bi-weekly weigh-ins, ongoing nutrition planning, internet-based food analysis, team-based physical challenges, before and after pictures, ongoing coaching, and fantastic goodies provided by their family-friendly sponsors. In addition, new One Fit Mama™ Members will receive 10% off their first purchase of any class package.
Participants will be competing for numerous prizes, including Memberships to One Fit Mama™, and a Bumbleride ‘Indie’ Stroller. Grand, First, and Second Prize winners will also be chosen, and rewards will be bestowed on many Moms throughout the program. Prizes and workshops will be provided by local and national sponsors such as: Kids U, Fleet Feet, Chris Dorian Children’s Photography, Kat Quarterman of The Body Shop at Home, Whole Foods, The Massage Studio, Nutrition in Motion, Heidi Rothbard, Cozy Cuisines, ZOOMA Women’s Race Series, and more.
