Have a Testimonial Party!

John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing recently provided a few suggestions on how business can get their hands on new customer testimonials. He suggests having a testimonial party for your existing high traffic customers that you’ve had for some time.

The party can be as big or as small as you’d like. Provide some tasty treats for your customers to snack on and maybe some refreshments (Jantsch suggests that wine helps) and set in for a good night of publicity through word of mouth.

Hire a videographer to set up their camera in a close by spot to the action of the party with a chair for your customers to sit down in and give their testimonial of your company. This part is completely voluntary, but you’d be surprised at how many of them will make it through the camera by the end of the night.

At the end of the night you will have a complete video of testimonial’s and still pictures from the party that you can transform into a testimonial page.

What’s the craziest party you’ve ever thrown for your clients or prospects?
