Those are some good ideas for resources, especially the chamber of commerce and angel groups…people most often don’t even think of those two places for help.

Unfortunately, the list is a bit simplistic. What you need to do once you contact these groups is important. For instance, the New York Chamber of Commerce holds a monthly networking mixer. If you just attend this event, you will probably meet only people who are only interested in selling their product (i.e. financial advisors, life coaches etc.) and not interested in really networking, which requires additional follow up contact.
