Cardboard Lemonade Stand for the Unimaginative

Lemonade Stand

Did you have a lemonade stand when you were a kid? I did, and it was usually just a folding table I’d drag out of the garage and set up on the sidewalk in front of my house on hot summer days. I’d decorate it with crudely drawn advertisements on scraps of cardboard.

Many complain that today’s children have no imagination and need incredibly structured playtime. I don’t agree, but if you do, this cardboard lemonade stand from Arte Bebe might be just the thing for your little entrepreneur in training. For $92 plus $10 shipping you get a 2′ by 3.5′ pre-folded stand.

Via my wife, who thinks that our homeschooled children should use their flexible schedule to their entrepreneurial advantage and selling icy drinks to the neighborhood kids as they get off the schoolbus. Too bad they’ll have pay federal income tax at their parents’ tax rate.

Oh, that’s cute. And the kids get to paint on the cardboard store to whatever color they like.

It can even be customized to sell other stuff instead of drinks, etc.

Maybe they should include a water proof cover to lay over the table top of the stand to make it last longer…

But $102 is a bit too expensive

Nothing seems to be easier than seeing someone whom you can help but not helping.
I suggest we start giving it a try. Give love to the ones that need it.
    God will appreciate it.

That is just the cutest thing i’ve ever seen! although i have to agree with Dane. I think a child even today should have a great imagination in anything that they do. i mean…with the lemonade stand alone…imagine all the different designs and decorations that they could flash it up with. i think that’s part of the problem these day’s, rather then let the children use their imagination, we buy them all kinds of devices that does EVERYTHING for them so they don’t have to use their imagination…using their imagination helps teach them and also keep them younger longer.
