Green Irene

Although they are admittedly a Direct Sales business opportunity, Green Irene is not another Avon or Tupperware business. Known as Eco-Consultants, these men and women offer their services to people that are interested in conserving energy within their home.

The $99 Green Home Makeover is their main product. It is a consultation which takes 60-90 minutes in the customers home. As the Eco-Consultant you would go over a variety of topics relating to energy conservation such as energy efficient lighting replacements, water conservation, and reducing harmful chemicals currently used in the home. The consultation leads into the sale of products.

You don’t need previous experience to become an Eco-Consultant. Through their web-based training, they will teach you about all of the services and products they offer, which includes the detailed Green Home Makeover plan. The total cost is $450. The training and business setup fee is $150. The demo kit, which should be purchased within 30 days, is $300.

  • I see where people want to go green now a day’s…and in most cases it does make sense and proves to help the world out a lot and prolong our resources, but…i just don’t forsee people going to the extreme of paying someone to come into their home and basically tell them what they are doing wrong in the “green” area and then trying to sell them an entire house full of goods and services to go completely green. i forsee more people listening to the news and watching commercials on tv that advertise green products then going to wal-mart and purchasing them for much cheaper.

  • for me that is a good idea, coz it help us conserve our energy at home and we can also save money from our budget from all bills.but the most important thing about this is its eco-friendly,great idea keep it up!

  • Good article! I looked into Grene Irene before teaming up with OnlyGreen, which offers similar green services but a more diverse product line. Our focus is on education as well as recommendation of green products that are as eco-friendly as possible, based upon our Product Selection Criteria which covers all stages of a product’s life cycle from manufacturing, packaging, distribution, and disposal.

  • Green Irene is such a great concept — we’ve signed up and are looking forward to helping our design clients green their homes while also making them look beautiful!
