AWE Unites Entrepreneurs From All Over The Web
What does it take to be a successful Web Entrepreneur? The advice may vary from person to person but the International Association of Web Entrepreneurs is dedicated to helping you find the answer.
Sheri McConnell, the founder for a series of associations including the AWE, has used her experienced eye to spot out areas of need to help everyone from women writers to web entrepreneurs find the support they need.
What inspired you to launch the International Association of Web Entrepreneurs?
From running the National Association of Women Writers, I had built a lot of great relationships online and I really wanted to create a vehicle for networking with them and leveraging their expertise. Plus I really felt there was a place on the Internet for ethical marketing strategies to be taught on a continuous basis. The Internet literally changes everyday, so I knew business owners would always need ongoing information in this area.
How much does a membership cost and what comes with it?

What did you do before you started AWE?
I ran the NAWW.org since 2001 and before that worked in corporate settings and also owned a couple other businesses too.
What has AWE taught you about business?
Success is all about the relationships you build. Period.

that was a terrific post. it is always’ nice to hear about someone helping someone else out especially in the business world. you see too many times other business savvy people who keep their secrets to themselves and don’t offer any advice or help to others. especially for web business…it is great that she is helping others on their web adventures.
