Voice Mail from Google: Coming Soon

I thought it was dead, but it appears that Google’s telephone answering web application Grand Central is alive after all. It’s taken a year to merge the GrandCentral servers with Google’s, but they’re nearly done, and a 2.0 version is imminent says New York Times tech columnist David Pouge.

    i find this to be both very interesting and odd all at the same time! while it would be different and kinda cool to get voicemail on the web, it just seem’s a little strange at the same time. maybe i’m still old fashion in some way’s, but voicemail to me just seem’s like it should be on a phone of some sort.
