Monetizing Non U.S. Traffic
For a long time the U.S. dominated overall Internet usage. In the past couple of years this situation has changed.
China passed the U.S. as the country with the most internet users this year.
Top sites like Yahoo, MSN, Facebook and MySpace all have more users internationally than in the US.
Serving an international user costs the same as serving a U.S. user, but making money from an international user is much harder. In 2009, I expect Internet companies to get serious about making money from their international traffic.

will its time for USA to get it back from china and prove that they are the most powerful and advance when it comes to technology, but we cant also denied that china has a big population and not only that they are also one of the country in the world that has a capability of making a new technology! thats is why they have a lot of internet users coz they want to prove that not only usa can do that but they can also! chinese people are really businessmen that is why?!

I agree with Cassy 100 percent!!!! But then again i also have an ill will taste towards china with all of their products they make going into recall…especially the one’s that are killing children for god sakes, not to mention the simple thought that everything get’s shipped over there or to their neighboring countries to be made when we have thousands of people in our own country that need jobs!
