Stay Focused on the Good

Staying focused on the good during difficult times is by far the hardest and most challenging part of doing business today. But you have to remember that the the one person who must concentrate on staying focused is you! If you lead, your people will follow.
Your staff members can waste countless hours talking about how tough times are and bemoaning what they cannot change. This provides an unneeded distraction at a time when focus is more important than ever. Even worse than wasting time on “what we can’t do” is wasting time on “why we can’t do what we can’t do.”
How do you keep everyone focused?

Usually if a leader show his weaknesses in a difficult times and his people see it, then his people will also get discourage and unresourceful. But if a leader show that he work hard and find new strategies to overcome the problems that his business may incounter, then his staff will help him, find solutions and become positive thinker.

As a leader, you should be able to guide, influence, and direct people. This way, you can handle all your business activities with ease and fewer worries.
Here are some of the qualities that a leader should have:
* A person who does not compromise on matters of principle and standards
* Some one who has a vision for the future and communicates this vision in a simple way for others to understand
* Someone who does not give up and leads by example
* Some one who can set high standards and not afraid to confront even enormous problem despite the risks involved
* Some one who accepts blame for any failure, instead gives credit of success to followers
* Some one who has integrity and courage.
It is a good article!

One of the best definitions I’ve heard is that a leader is someone who others desire to emulate. I believe leaders also live their lives with a specific “cause” which works with the virtues they possess and demonstrate.
