Granby Mom Brings Memories Together

Stay-at-home mom Sharon A. Bail is helping local people who keep scrapbooks go a step further in preserving their memories by assisting them in putting together hard-cover books.

The books have the glossy covers and pages typically used for children’s books and may be designed on a computer using special software from Creative Memories, the St. Cloud, Minn. business from which Bail gets all her materials. The software ranges in price from $39.99 to $59.99, Bail said during a recent interview at her Easton Street home. Copies of the books, which are available print-on-demand style, may be purchased for as little as $35 each.

Bail’s clients have used the software to arrange family photographs in books ranging in subject from their young children to favorite recipes.

Bail said that although the software is easy to use, she is available to lend a hand. “I’ve gone to people’s homes more than once and helped them do it,” Bail said. “It is much cheaper than doing a traditional style scrapbook.”
