When Labels Matter: Business Helps Put Your Mark On Kids’ Stuff
Michelle Brandriss began searching for labels for her child’s clothing and playthings out of necessity. Launching a new company devoted to the creation
of durable vinyl labels made with non-toxic, eco-friendly ink was done out of a desire to stay home with her young son and fill a void in the marketplace.
“We had used other labels for years but were frustrated with the limited options in styles, colors and personalization,” Brandriss said. After deciding to leave full-time employment to stay at home with her 2-year-old son, Cooper, Brandriss opted to open an e-commerce store, Name Bubbles.
Brandriss, working out of a local coffee shop and her basement office, spent several months researching materials.
“It was a hard thing finding the right product,” Brandriss said. “I needed to find really durable vinyl.” The labels are non-toxic, made with eco-friendly ink, and continue to stick in the most extreme conditions. Brandriss said the labels withstand temperatures of minus 60 degrees to 220 degrees Fahrenheit.
