Make your Message Stick

Do you ever find yourself humming an old advertising jingle you remember from childhood? It’s a common occurrence for all of us. Some things just stick in our minds, seemingly forever. But what makes one marketing message stick while hundreds or even thousands of others are barely noticed or immediately forgotten?
How can you make your marketing message stick? Try bringing out the emotion. You can do this by making them laugh, causing surprise and shock, or by tugging at their heart strings a little. This creates the opportunity for your message to always be memorable to them.

humor, outrageous, taboo, amazing, secrets — these things make messages stick. in this overly politically-correct, please everybody, i don’t want to make a stand and remain neutral, and fake-responsibility of times, something slightly off sticks. great post.
