When opening a new business or even in an existing business, it is very important to survey your customers. There is so much information that a business owner can obtain from
these surveys. Below are a few good reasons that you should survey your customers.

  • Gaining feedback. Ask them what they truly think about your products and services, you never know until you actually ask.
  • Setting the bar. Once you know where your business stands right now, you can set certain goals to improve certain areas.
  • Learn new ideas. Your customers very likely have suggestions and ideas for you; let them share them with you.
  • Evaluating our competition. Ask your customers what other services or products like yours have they used; ask how they compare to yours. This will give you a good idea of where your competitors are and where you need improvements.
