One To-Do A Day

Marc At MarcandAngelHackLife.com:
Some people spend 90% of their time organizing their time.
Some tackle to-do lists peppered with insignificance that stretch a mile long.
And still, there are others who refuse to do anything at all.
As for me, I am committed to doing one thing a day, and that has made all the difference.

Now THAT is a time management principle that I can embrace. The only thing that comes close to this that I have ever used before is the “6 most important things” list which did me some good, but I think this makes much more sense for my “single track mind”.
Thanks for the great idea!

Great concept. Actually wrote similar in recent post: http://bit.ly/Lqqp9
You are right, sad many assign same value to all tasks. To be effective, we must focus on the highest and best use of our time at each step and by selecting your most important task is certainly one way to do this.

While i think it’s a great idea to have a list made up of the thing’s that you need to and want to accomplish in a certain time period, i also agree that it is important to do one thing at a time. If need be you can organize your list in a manner of the most important items at the top and so on, and do one thing per day or per week. That way you don’t get overwhelmed and take the risk of saying “screw it, the list is just going to have to wait”.
