Niche Biz: Painting With Ribs And BBQ Sauce
Editor’s Note: Why did I include this post? What does it have to do with business opportunities?
It’s a perfect example of creating a business out of an unusual skill. This “artist” could follow the BBQ rib festival circuit and put on shows at each festival. He could get sponsorship ($$$) and free “paint” from a major BBQ sauce maker.
So he could travel around America working around 2 days (weekends) a week and get paid to do it. In addition , he could sell t-shirts and other merchandise with his logo on it and do special commision artwork. Got an unusual skill?

I don’t think i would necessarily call painting with BBQ sauce a skill. that is just one of those thing’s where someone is taking a real skill like painting and almost making a joke of it it seems. there is no real painting that could come of this, as the sauce would eventually begin to smell from molding and attract all kinds of bugs from the time it was done.

WOW – what an idea! I am sure the same could be achieved, by this talented artist, using paint instead of BBQ sauce – it’s just so interesting because it’s so unusual .
It’s also a great reminder that nothing is impossible and that your business does not have to follow anyone else’s rules. If this type of art is this artists business – clearly, he has found a niche’. Your business can be whatever YOU want it to be – and nothing less!

Ha! That’s just great, and I think it is a talent. I mean, I couldn’t whip up something like that using BBQ sauce and ribs!
I agree, some of the strangest things (such as this “bbq art”) could possibly become a form of business if played out right.
